Camilo Álvarez's artistic journey begins with a pencil. A simple mechanical pencil becomes a tool he uses to create intricate, often obsessive, lines that build and interweave the layers of his subjects. The soul of his meticulous craftsmanship emerges through varying densities of gray and spaces enhanced with paint.

Álvarez's work navigates between the figurative and the abstract, often presenting geometric forms that invite viewers to experience the spirit of each piece rather than seek complete understanding. His deep exploration of his relationship with paper has transformed it into the canvas through which he expresses his life and conveys his profound questions. His art evokes surprising moods, drawing viewers into the emotional landscapes he creates.
