Collection: Exti

Born in the vibrant heart of Buenos Aires, Argentina, EXTi is an artistic force whose work transcends boundaries and mediums. Growing up amidst the rich cultural tapestry of Argentina, EXTi’s early years were steeped in the dynamic energy of Buenos Aires—a city known for its passionate embrace of art, music, and street culture. This foundational influence is ever-present in EXTi’s multifaceted creations.

In his formative years, EXTi moved to New York City, where he spent a transformative decade absorbing the city's raw urban essence. New York, with its pulsating street art scene, sprawling urban landscapes, and the omnipresent beats of hip-hop, left an indelible mark on EXTi. The city's immense scale, its unrelenting energy, and the rich mosaic of contemporary and pop culture infused EXTi’s work with a unique vibrancy. This period was crucial in shaping him not only as a visual artist but also as a recording artist, singer-songwriter, and fashion connoisseur.

EXTi, a child of the 90s, witnessed the birth of the internet and the rapid evolution of global culture. This exposure to the burgeoning digital age, combined with his Argentinian roots and New York's urban influences, crafted a distinct artistic voice that speaks to the nostalgia of the past while pushing the boundaries of contemporary expression. His art is a reflection of his life experiences—an amalgamation of the need to heal, the relentless pursuit of self-awareness, and the resilience born from his upbringing.

Central to EXTi’s artistic philosophy is the concept of art as a healing tool. He views his creations as band-aids—symbolic representations of the healing process. This metaphorical approach earned him the moniker "King of Broken Hearts," a testament to his understanding of the universal struggle for healing and self-improvement. Through his work, EXTi conveys that we are all, in our own ways, royalty in our journey of healing and growth, be it through personal, familiar and romantic challenges.

EXTi’s notable works and collaborations are a testament to his versatility and visionary approach to art. Among his most distinguished projects is the customization of a Fender Modify electric guitar, a gift from Stevie Wonder to the lead singer of Third World. This guitar, which holds a piece of musical history, was used to record several records for Bob Marley. EXTi also had the honor of being called to paint Eric Clapton's piano, infusing it with his unique artistic flair.

His influence extends to major radio networks, where he has designed installations featuring electric guitars and art pieces, creating immersive environments that blend music and visual art. EXTi has collaborated with renowned brands such as Adidas, designing their jerseys, or with some UNICEF campaigns, and has been involved in several projects that span music, fashion, and art.
