Javier Rodríguez

 

Javier Rodríguez, known in the art world as Sangre y Tinta, is a highly influential painter, tattoo artist, sculptor, and artist from the Colombian Caribbean coast. Born in Valledupar, Cesar, on January 29, 1979, his passion for painting emerged at the age of 5, and he has been self-taught throughout his life.

At 19, Javier began his career as a tattoo artist, quickly gaining popularity among prominent artists, actors, athletes, and celebrities in Colombia. He has collaborated with photographers using body painting techniques for magazine covers. He has exhibited his work internationally, including at 21 Gallery in Tokyo, Art Basel in Miami, and Collective Al in Belgium, among other countries in Latin America.

Javier's unique style is characterized by his expressive techniques and his ability to represent nature and humanity in compelling ways.
