Verónica Pasman
ARTIST BIO
Veronica Pasman (b.1974) was born in Argentina and is now based in Miami, FL. She received her degree in Graphic Design at Universidad de Palermo, Buenos Aires (1994). Her career meandered through different design fields — starting at the Packaging Bureau of Avalos and Bourse (1994), continuing at the Art Department of Para Ti Magazine, Editorial Atlántida (1995–1998), and including an internship at Grazia Magazine in Milan, Italy, Mondadori Editore. Back in Buenos Aires she joined FAC Image Bureau (1998–2003), responsible for the brand Paula Cahen D’Anvers for women and kids. Since 2003 she has worked as a freelance designer for publishers including Penguin Random House, Guadal, El Gato de Hojalata, Chicas x Chicas, Ediciones B, Albatros, Sudamericana, Grijalbo, Editorial Periplo, Olhalá, and Diario La Nación.
She studied Photography with Diego Sandstede (Buenos Aires) and Drawing with live model with Prof. Ernesto Pesce (Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, Buenos Aires). Since emigrating to the United States in 2017, Verónica has focused on her art. She participated in several workshops and in 2019 joined Collective62, renting her own studio to work full time on her paintings. She sells her art to private collectors and has collaborated with Architectural Designers including Rita Chraibi, Maggie Cruz, Eddie Lee, Holly Hunt, and Fort Partners for private projects.
