ARTIST STATEMENT
I approach each piece without a predetermined destination, allowing the medium to dictate the initial direction. My process is deeply tactile and layered; I build up surfaces and then strip them back, creating a history within the work that mirrors the complexities of human memory. I am fascinated by the concept of “controlled spontaneity”—the moment where a frantic gesture finds its place within a balanced composition.
